[The following terms and conditions are the legally binding and guiding principles our customers must agree to before any job begins.]
1) Legally Binding Agreement:
By signing a contract with The James Industrial Cleaning, you (the homeowner/client) are signing a legally binding contract for work to be completed at an agreed-upon price. If you break this contract, all deposits made to the company shall be surrendered as damages.
2) Product Warranties:
All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. The James Industrial Cleaning makes no additional warranties.
3) Water Usage:
By signing this agreement, you agree to provide The James Industrial Cleaning the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the water supply is on and in working order before we arrive. Additional charges will be applied if water is not available.
4) Electrical Usage:
By signing this agreement, you agree to provide The James Industrial Cleaning the right to use an on-site source of electricity as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior source is required it will be at an additional charge.
5) Color and Tone Concerns:
The color and tone of the stain can be affected by the properties and species of wood, as well as weather and aging. Variations may occur due to differences in density and other characteristics. We try our best to represent the final finish, but the client must expect some variance in overall color and tone.
6) Courtesy:
Keep children, pets, and other individuals away from the work area while The James Industrial Cleaning is on location. Children, pets, and other individuals must stay off the work surface for at least 24 hours after our work is completed for safety reasons.
7) Payments:
Payments to The James Industrial Cleaning are due as per the contract schedule. Any variance to this policy must be agreed upon and in writing in our contract. Late charges will be assessed on all balances not paid by contract terms. The customer agrees to pay any collection cost incurred.
8) Scheduling:
Weather can affect scheduling in this type of businesses. We do our best to minimize conflicts, but circumstances beyond our control may impact project dates. You’ll be notified of any changes.
9) Removal & Replacement of Deck Contents:
The client is responsible for removing and replacing grills, deck furniture and planters. The James Industrial Cleaning is not liable for any damage, breakage or storage issues if we need to remove items. Additional charges may apply for removal time and labor.
10) Damages:
The James Industrial Cleaning is not liable for damages caused by improper installation of siding, loose shingles or siding, broken windows, improper sealing of doors and windows, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose gutters and leaders, or improper caulking. The company is also not responsible for color fading or sun bleaching caused by weather, or for loose mortar during the cleaning process.
11) Stains:
Certain stains like tree sap, artillery fungus, and paints cannot be removed by our washing methods. We make every attempt to notify the client about these areas while quoting the project.
12) Watertight:
The James Industrial Cleaning expects your property to be in good repair and weathertight. We are not responsible for damages caused by poor installation or maintenance of electrical-related items, doors, or windows. We cannot guarantee the removal of fungus from exterior house surfaces.
13) Concrete:
Concrete appearance depends on factors like when it was poured and cured. Dirt, mold, mildew, algae, and other pollutants can affect it. Cleaning concrete may reveal imperfections previously covered by stains. Concrete may not look the same even on the same surface.
